Paper Abstract:
|
Mobile devices and applications have been gaining more and more importance in our everyday lives, especially in
communication processes and social interactions, which translates to a visible rise of aggregate value provided by these
devices in general. With the improvement of these technologies, the development of applications and services for mobile
devices are becoming more common each day in several areas. As in many other areas, we also begin to see mobile
devices being used in education, creating a new called concept Mobile Learning or m-Learning. Its great potential lies on
the use of mobile technology as part of an integrated learning model, characterized by the use of portable devices and
wireless communications. In this paper we present an ongoing work in this area; sceneries will be shown that use
different portable devices, as we describe the development of an m-Learning tool built in the context of a university
campus. |
